Frequently Asked Questions
Explanation of Cryotherapy
What is cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy provides relief from pain, poor circulation,
and inflammation. The cryo machine is an advanced
chamber that uses liquid nitrogen to produce an
extreme, dry cold. In just three minutes, the cold activates
useful mechanisms in the body, spurring on a multitude
of benefits.
What is compression therapy?
It’s a startlingly simple and effective mix: pulsing
compression, gradients, and distal release. Through these
mechanisms, these sleeves maximize the entire body’s
circulation to help you recover faster, train harder, and feel
better! Each segment of the attachment will first compress
and pulse and then, release. This will repeat for each
segment of the attachment as the compression pattern
works its way up your limb. There are several levels of
compression one may choose from–and we look forward
to matching you with the most effective plan.
What is low-level-light therapy?
Another word for it: PHOTOBIOMODULATION! This
form ofLight Emitting Diode (LED) technology used as
a form of therapy, is akin to the process of plant
photosynthesis. (That’s right!) Energy given by these
LEDs has the power to do many things: repair and
recharge damaged skin cells, stimulate collagen
production, and amplify cellular metabolism. Works
with all skin types, non-invasive, no pain and no
downtime!
